Alexey Chernov has written a considerable number of compositions for different instrumental groups (from compositions for solo instrument to large orchestra scores) and in different forms. However the composer considers only ten of them are the most successful and worth showing to the public. Here you can get acquainted with these ten compositions as well as with some other ones that he performs at his concerts. Some of them are available in mp3 and provided with notes.

Op.11 “9 Etudes-Fantasias” is now in its final stage, and some etudes have already been performed by the author at concerts. Also the author is currently working at symphonic compositions (symphony and “Nocturne to the memory of G.Mahler” for a big symphonic orchestra) and a number of chamber compositions, among which the second piano sonata and quartet for violin, clarinet, violoncello and piano.
